David Bellamy’s lawyer threatened an elections complaint against Jeremy Matlow, saying Matlow made false claims that Bellamy voted for Ron DeSantis. WCTV investigated it on tonight’s broadcast & cited footage from Our Tallahassee, which shows Bellamy admitting that he voted for DeSantis.
Bellamy’s lawyers claimed that the ad falsely said that Bellamy voted for Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, after being presented with video evidence of Bellamy saying he voted for DeSantis, he’s no longer claiming he didn’t vote for DeSantis, now, he says he didn’t vote for Trump.

“To the public, it looks like we aren’t being open and transparent,” said Rick Minor, who, along with Kristin Dozier, was denied the right to speak at the meeting.
“Commissioner Matlow stepped up for public safety and our first responders in a very big way over the past couple of years,” said Davis, “these have been difficult times for our members and he has not only been willing to listen, but has worked to address some of those problems to ensure we can provide the highest level of public safety.”
